I guess my dealership did a bunch of software updates last Friday. In addition to my car's Maximum G-Force memory no longer working, I just noticed this message popping up when I switched off my car's climate control. I have no idea what this means:

Oh I’ll have to try that when I get my car back from CCA. I don’t think I’ve ever turned off climate control.

WOW, the "ventilated" seats must have some new software! Sorry I can't help as that is a new one I've never heard or read about. I must admit I'm looking forward to an explanation from Porsche.

probably the recirculated air button was activated - or perhaps the optional Ionizer (?)

This message pops up as soon as you turn the climate control fan all the way off. I repeated this a couple of times and the message pops up every time climate control is switched off.

Nothing new, our 2019 Macan S shows it every time climate control is used.

OK, well my car just started showing this message. And it only shows up when the fan is switched all the way off. It's not a big deal to me. The message is just a bit cryptic.

Mine say this now after the software updates at the factory dealer least week( June 2019 car ) . Never did before, its a new message and a major don't care

Aren’t these updates supposed to be over the air at this point? Why is it we still have to visit dealers to get an update done

seems to be a big gap between "supposed to be " and the reality. The sick joke of this visit was; they were to do the ( many) soft/firmware packages and the dynamic engine mount replacements .....they only did the software and have to re book for the real work( unless I were to leave it with them for weeks ). This is a main dealer which is Porsche factory owned.....so you would think they would have their S together . wait , I forgot, maybe engine mounts are covid sensitive. christ will there ever come the day before I expire that the covid excuse is no longer rolled out every time something is wrong.

Anybody else getting the “you bastard” bug?

All my alerts pop up normally, but with the tagger “you bastard”... For instance, “Passenger Air Bag Activated, You Bastard” or the like.

Is it just me? Anybody? Anybody?

^ That message goes away if you recirculate your fast air cleaner.

It could be that your cabin has sensors that monitor the air/humidity levels and when the recirculate function is OFF (or ON low for example), it overrides it and tries to clean the cabin air for you asap.
