Ended up finding a 992S with both sports chrono and PSE
- car is significantly faster from 80 to 110 (sport mode not sport plus) than 991.2 base manual
- steering feels slightly light (the car had the dump package of steering assist or something)
- the seating feels slightly lower than base 911
- the cabin feels more spacious
- the mode change on steering is great
- don’t like the door handles

-The car is tiny bit wider and slightly longer wheelbase longer than 991.2
- The cabin is different than 991.2
I think you are confused with my question above vs my review in comparison with 991.2 (I traded it in)

Reasons-
1. Dealer mentioned on track days, one can notice the power difference between S and base.
2. The large discount and good trade in value brought the cost of S almost on par with base.

Yes, I ended up with 992S and traded in my 991.2. I was initially stuck between 992 base with chrono and 922S without chrono. But another dealer (owner himself) made me an offer which I could not refuse (large discount) and this other dealer had an 992S with chrono and PSE.
