Do you or metalblond know which roro (roll-on, roll-off) ship? PWL (the shipping company that I believe does most or all of VW Group’s exports) doesn’t have a July shipping schedule posted yet that matches the dates metalblond posted. We all are getting closer, though!

The VW group (according to the linked story) runs 9 vessels on the North Atlantic route between Germany and North America. The Siem Confucius (on its maiden transport voyage) docked June 26 in Halifax with my car and continued down the eastern seaboard. Not sure when the Siem Aristotle enters service, but along with the Confucius will replace two of the current 9 vessels which are oil burners. https://www.man-es.com/discover/lng-...riers-launched

No mention by name in this story (or any others I could find) of the other RoRos VW currently uses, but in the past couple of months Porsches have been transported to North America on the Mediterranean Highway and the Goodwood in addition to the carriers mentioned higher up in the thread (Sagittarius Leader and Siem Cicero).

I'll hound my SA later this week and if I find out about the ship I'll let you know.
I was googling "Roro ship Porsche" and I came across this and almost had a heart attack... https://shipsandports.com.ng/grande-...luxury-brands/ I can't even imagine...

Default Bishu Highway

My SA told me today my car is on the Bishu Highway, a few days out of Emden on it's way to Halifax and then to Baltimore where my car will be off loaded. Due at dealer 7/24.

I talked to my SA today and he said he'd let me know the actual ship name when he finds it out. Will keep my friends here posted.

Different ship but the same time-frame for delivery; so good luck with yours.

Yes I remembered this AND IF there was ever a year for it to happen again; it would be 2020 given everything else that has gone on this year. Let's hope not (and keep saying our prayers for a safe journey and delivery).

I called Porsche NA and they said that my car is scheduled to leave Emden on July 17th and that the vessel name isn't released until the vehicle actually gets on board. Does that sound right? Either way, that's 10 days away!!! In the meantime, it looks like our cars are in Emden getting ready for their voyage ;-)

I just sent an email to my SA and asked if he would send the ship’s name when he got it. Perhaps PNA just told you what is the current schedule, and they don’t know for sure. Somebody mentioned that a ship was leaving this week - maybe we squeezed in to that one!

I think that you are going to miss our boat, but congrats on your production date!

First, I knew when my 992 was in Emden, awaiting a ship. Then I looked on the Spyder GT4 forum and found a export schedule that accommodated my destination. That gave me a fairly good idea which ship it would be on.

But to know for absolutely sure, I got the information from my SA once the 992 was boarded onto Siem Cicero (which was my guess BTW). The SA gets that information from the Shipping / Invoicing part of their management system.

My ship is scheduled to arrive in Jacksonville, FL at 3AM this Thursday. I'm really starting to get excited that my long wait is finally coming to an end.

Good luck y'all.

My SA will let me know the ship as soon as he sees it, but expects the car at the end of July. Brother and Sister cars - it’s just weeks now.

Made me think of the saying, "A day late, and a dollar short" Unbelievable (sad and humorous at the same time).
