I have read the full thread.
I have the same issue in my early 992, produced June 17th 2019. Only 1 Wi-Fi access, and no Wireless Carplay.
As I am then running wired Carplay, I am not able to use the Phone button on my steering wheel, to pick up or hang up the phone. The button works perfectly well, when running Bluetooth connected to the PCM (Not Carplay)
Do you experience that same issues with the Phone button too, when running Wired Carplay?
The display on the small screen even announces: "Apple Carplay Active" when I try to use the Phone button to tell me:
"Hey, you can't use that button, when using Carplay"
I have tested with other cables, other iPhones, the issues is with the car.
That same Phone button works on Wired and Wireless Carply in my friend 992, which is produced just 2 weeks later than mine.
I am mainly interested in getting the function of that button working in my car. I will then survive with wired Carplay.
