I don’t understand why my dealer didn’t know that the two vertical rear lights were clear as part of the clear package.

So the clear package must be the clear center BAR light and the clear center mounted vertical light (its one piece)?

Multiple Parts, One Part Number, it is a "set": 992044911

The parts in this "set" can each be purchased separately. However, buying each part separately would almost certainly cost more.

The assumption, on Porsche's part, is that if you are a "Clear Light" customer, you probably want all of the rear facing lights to be in the same clear style. Thus they sell all of the rear facing clear lights as a set.

Evan,

Can you confirm the "left, right tail lights" included in the set, are the same or different than the original tail light?

My understanding is the original left/right tail lights are already clear.

Thanks

Sean

Looks like it depends on the build options of the vehicle - shoot us the VIN and we'll be happy to compare the part #s included on the vehicle with the parts included in the kit...

Isn’t it just a difference of euro-spec (orange) blinkers vs. US (red)? As far as being “clear” - yes, they were physically identical for me.

When ordering the clear package for the clear tail lights, don't forget to change out the amber front side lights as well.

Ive heard reference to clear taillights and tinted taillights. Is there a clear kit AND a tinted kit, or are they one in the same?

I ordered this kit https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/sku992lights.html from my local dealer. The picture makes it look like its all tinted, but now im not sure what Im getting?

They are one in the same. Checkout some of the pics posted above in this thread from customers that already have these on their vehicles to get a better of idea of how they appear.

My 911 is chalk and came with all lights clear on the back. I cant stand it! I ordered the vertical light in the grill in red and the long bar light that goes from one tail light to the other in red as well. I wish we could get he left and right tail lights in red too. The clear look is so 90's Altezza looking.

I'm in Socal (San Diego) and I'd be willing to trade by center red light bar for clear if anyone is up for the swap!
