I see, the guy is having second thoughts about green, and you tell him that he does NOT have to go bold... GT Silver is fine...
How is that supposed to help him out?

Here’s another pic of Python, but this time on a 718 Cayman GTS. I could see this color changing a bit depending on lighting conditions and camera setup. I’m excited about it though. Can’t wait for my car to come in. I’ve always liked the bright colors (last Porsche was Racing Yellow). Doesn’t bother me if it’s not that popular of a color.

Eh, do not like. But color is personal.

Color is a very personal decision. Green is my favorite but would only go for a dark green (BRG), not bright green. Ask yourself if you want to stand out in traffic, in a parking lot, and everywhere else. These cars stand out even with a more neutral color but put a loud color on it and it REALLY stands out. If you want all that attention, go for it.

i am not into attention. i am beyond that.... the color needs to attract me..... example i now own a lava orange/ yellow dials and seatbelts...... its a clash but i like it ....so whats my choice now

Get whatever color attracts you..... Lava orange is still available. Go to the dealer and look at the cars. I did. That's how I decided on Chalk.

Well, I think you said it . . . the color needs to attract you. Only you know whether Python attracts you and it sounds like you're saying it doesn't. So time to move on?

Color is the most subjective decision of ALL. Only you can decide if that color is something you can live with long term. Everyone on here including myself have been down the "second-guess" road in regards to the vast options you can choose.
That being said, if you're doubting & second-guessing the color now, before delivery. You'll never be 100% happy with it in the "long term". Yeah, you may pick the car up, and absolutely love it... but you're going to want it to last past the honeymoon phase.
@porsche526 do you have a Python green 992 currently on order? If so... is it V250 locked?

Yes, it’s more about how the color makes you feel when you walk up to it. The bright colors do attract attention, but for me, it was about how I enjoyed looking at the car. I’ve had a number of red and bright blue cars, but never this kind of green. I also think that the red, orange, blue, and yellow would look great. If I could have two 911’s, the other would be one of these colors in a convertible or Targa. Although my car enters production on Friday, I am still on the configurator. Right now, I am digging the yellow - changes daily, lol.
