Now you have me reconsidering my wheel choice. I like the spyder wheels, but these jet black carrera s wheels look very nice too...almost gt3 looking. This build is so similar to mine but I deleted the clear tail lights. Hmmm.....

I ordered the jet black metallic rims. This is my final build, but I opted out of the PEC. My choices are unique, I know ( a bit poser, and my SA even called it odd ball). At this point, I need to live with my choices and enjoy it. I'll post pictures when I take delivery (which was moved up two weeks to mid March).

Great build— mine is similar but with glass sunroof, clear taillights and decided to black out the brake calipers; delete the model designation and replaced it with black “911” which will confound the Porsche-o-philes for a while 😁
I feel like this is one of those colors that you're just going to have to see in person. Every picture paints a slightly different picture of it, much like MB. Tends to look light in many pics, which I would prefer. I'm loving it so far, and may have to consider it on my next 911!

you’re right— I went from agate gray to black to aventurine green when my SA looked at me and said “really? You mean like all the other builds I’ve seen everywhere??” And I went for badass bold instead

I went back and forth on the clear tail lights. I ultimately decided not to get them. I think they look good with the aerokit.
I went with a body colored aerokit which I think I prefer looking at the pictures of the black one above. The downside is matt trim color. So, I will have to take extra care polishing and waxing.

I drove a S, and it is faster.. I wanted some very specific options. When I put them on a S, I was in 991.2 GT3 territory (WITH MINIMAL OPTIONS). I just couldn't justify it. I'd like a 992 GT3, but the delays have just been continuous. It's going to be 2022 before the first wave hits the market, and then all the preferred customers get theirs. So, the earliest would be 2023-2024 if I get an allocation and save enough now that I've made this purchase. We will see. For the near term, I'll enjoy the poser mobile once I get it and worry about "what is next" later. I am really excited though. I keep checking Trackyourdream (not sure how accurate it is..)
Man, I wish I new. My car is still sitting at the port in Houston waiting to come to Dallas. It got flagged for a “quality action,” whatever that means. Latest TYD says “en route” on 12/11 and arrival at dealer on 12/18. We’ll see...
