Thanks! When I ordered the car back in May I tried to get Porsche to do it. They said they would need 3-6 months to validate and didn’t give me a cost, but my SA said they would probably charge for a whole new steering wheel... crazy. I passed on that.

I realized that I had pictures that I took with the same phone in similar lighting of Signal and Viper Green GT3s vs. the "paint chip" in Python Green. So, here you go. Let me know your thoughts. My hope has been that it's closer to Viper than Signal, and these pictures do seem to kind of throw it somewhere in the middle. Kind of wish I'd taken another picture of the Python at a different angle, but still gives an idea.

I also opted for the poverty pipes! I needed quads, not two ovals - pure vanity. My formative years were in the 80's, and back then, the really really cool cars had quads.

BTW - I love python green

they are not poverty pipes. I went back and forth but I couldn't find a 992 w/o sport exhaust to hear. From what I've read, it actually sounds raspier and more like older 991s. So, you may have made the better choice. I'm not sure. What I do know is that I'm seeing a lot of builds without it. Congrats on yours'. I have real quads on the 991.1. That is with PSE, and I do like the sound. I agree that quads are cool, but I can't complain about the looks of the PSE on the 992 either..I just wish there was more... sound..although I might get hate for that. I like the pics I've seen. I can't wait to see the Python green when mine arrives!!

I like the look of the quad pipes as well. I really wanted PSE though. I ended up going the exclusive design tips on the PSE.

Yeah, I went with PSE, but just the regular silver ones. I am not sure how it compares to non-PSE. So, its hard to say if I made the right choice. It looks the part, low tone grunt, and the pops and crackles. So, we will see how I feel about it over time.

Good call Warren, if I had gone PSE, I would have added the exclusive tips as well. I just drove one and didn't want the extra sound at the extra price. I know, I am strange.

Every 992 I test drove had PSE, so honestly I never got to hear what the standard sounded like first hand. I liked the PSE so just went with it. Plenty of folks have gone without it, so you’re not strange 😉 All these debates about which colors, types of brakes, seats, transmission, exhaust, etc. are best mostly come down to an individual’s personal preference. My thoughts are get what you want and don’t worry about it. That’s what’s so fun about getting to order a new one.
