Car Vac Question
I'm looking to purchase a car vac for my 992 that has plenty of power yet portable and with attachments for those hard to reach areas.
Does anyone have a recommendation?
Thanks in advance!

Not helpful I know, but the only time I was jealous of a minivan feature was when Chrysler introduced an integrated vac. What do you think the Rennlister uptake would be on that option if Porsche offered it??!!

II have a couple that I use...
1.) I have a full commercial Garage Vac for my external garage/man cave - wall mounted, can devour anything (Think those huge Vacs they use at DYI car wash places.)
2.) I have a very small portable Milwaukee Battery operated shop vac as well. I use this one as it has small attachments for the hard to reach areas, but it can do the standard light cleaning. It is the size of a medium sized toolbox, very portable due to being 18v battery operated. I use this for quick cleaning, small areas, and when I don't want to deal with the huge vac, and big hose, etc. that comes with it.
Obviously the suction power on my main garage vac is ridiculous, but for most small jobs the Milwaukee portable does well. I like it a lot, as I also do not have to plug it in and it has very small attachments for the creases on the side of the seats, small to reach areas like under the seats, etc. So nice to have both. It is powerful enough to pick up most of the light cleaning duty. I do not use it on my SUV's as much as there is tons of dirt, rocks, sand, etc. where I need more industrial strength.

i love the Dyson handhelds... mounts on the wall to charge, can get all sorts of great attachments, powerful enough to vacuum the floor as well. The bigger v10 and 11 are better house vacs but for what you want v8 or even v7 should be great.

Car vac for me is more about being compact and with enough attachments to get into tight places. The interior is small and I don't abuse it so cleaning is easy. No need to go overboard on $'s for a vac.
More important is spending on a great blower/dryer. I have one I use from Blackfire that has great power but not the highest quality attachments. I too am looking at the Bigboi blowers mentioned above and would love to know who is using/what size/ and real feedback on quality.

I have their twin motor Pro model with the optional 30' hose on order and am supposed to receive it next Wednesday--I'll post a review after I use it. I love blow dryers and currently have the single motor Metrovac Air Force Blaster that I've been using for my motorcycles for years--it's great for quickly getting all water out of every crevice easily, but it's just not powerful enough to dry a car fast. I ordered the Big Boi Pro instead of the twin motor Metrovac Master Blaster model because the Big Boi is supposed to be a lot quieter and the hose more flexible and collapses to half its length. The hose for the Metrovac models is rigid and a little cumbersome to use.
