I'd want it, too. But I'd expect it to take up frunk space. For example, just like a C4S frunk is smaller than a C2S frunk. One clue is that all the Porsche frunk liners are different sizes vs certain models within the same series.
I believe in the 992 the frunk is exactly the same on the C4S and C2S. All frunk liners from porsche and other vendors are exact for both (I ordered one).

No difference between all 992 base/S models.
I would not swap storage capacity for fuel capacity. But if there wasn't a different liner for extended tank models, that would seem to indicate that the frunk is not smaller if the extended tank option is added.

Thank you. Good to know Porsche made this change (same size frunk) with the 992.

Agree. While I normally don't need the extra 6 gallons (they are 90L right?) it would be nice to have on some of my road trips, because in some small back-road towns I travel, 93 is not available (91 is...but I prefer the 93 in a bigger town) and I like the idea of fresher gas in a bigger town. On a GT3 (deposit down) it becomes even more helpful due to the greatly reduced fuel economy.
Wish this had been available when I got mine. It sure knows how to burn gas in town...not far off an SUV...so you fill up a lot due to tank size. Definitely a worthwhile option.

Ditto on having it as an option as I'd like to have it for when I run around all day in the mountains / back roads down here and there aren't usually too many gas stations around. Oh well.
