Question on Sports Exhaust Retrofit
Hi there,
Hope everyone is safe and healthy.
I am getting close to trade in my 991.2 Carrera (lease) for 992 Carrera S but the dealer's in stock Carrera S does not have the sports exhaust. Is it easy to retrofit Porsche Sports Exhaust (on 991.2 it was a very expensive) on 992? Or should I try Tubi exhaust for 992 ($3500 something)?
Thanks,
Hope everyone is safe and healthy.

Suncoast has the exhaust for 3295 https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKU992PSE.html
I have received installation/programming estimates from 900 to 1200 here in the Bay Area.
The other option is the Soul or Fabspeed sport cats. These cost around 3k but I have not heard them on a car without the PSE.
I am leaning towards the Soul/Fabspeed as I prefer the looks of the quad exhaust.

I would drive the car for a while with the standard exhaust and see how you like it. In sport+ when kicked down it really sounds good, but at idle it's not obtrusive at all--and no need to toggle the valves open and closed, they just automatically open up when needed. If you still want PSE, spending about $4,400 to retrofit is not that bad considering the option price is $2,950--plus you then get to keep the cool quad exhaust tips! Might even luck out and pick up a PSE exhaust for a lot less from a private party like stef@europipe.
