This Sunday was great weather - got to take a few cars out for about 100 miles each over a period of 3-4 hours. Took both these shots a few hours apart in the same location which is part of my route I drive. I just had them all cleaned up a few days before - so nice and shiny!

I know the second pic is not a 992 of course, but it was so clean and hard to capture Volcano Red, thought this was a good representation. The 992 is Jet Black Metallic if wondering...

Sunday drive to wine country. The day started at 5am packing the family in with my son’s carry on and backpack for a school trip to DC. Also stuffed in lunch for 7, swim gear bag and my wife’s backpack and had room to spare! Dropped my son off at SFO then headed to my wife’s nephew’s new place in the hills above Napa. Did not get many shots of the car but had a great day. Put almost 300 miles to get to 1773 - 90 to go to hit 3000km break in.

What software or camera are you using to capture this video with all of the car inputs and track layout included?

@Richard_Wallace Is your 720S truly Volcano Red? It looks fantastic. My father had a 12C Spider in Volcano Red and it is a truly magnificent color. When he ordered his 720S Spider to replace it he wanted the same, but the dealership insisted that, while they would special paint a car in Volcano for a large cost , the new equivalent was Memphis Red. Memphis is great as well, but definitely a little different than Volcano.

I'm curious as to whether the dealership was being truthful on the availability.

It’s the Porsche Track Precision App. Download from the Apple or Android app store for free. I think you need Sports Chrono in the car.

That's awesome. And are you using external cameras (GoPro, etc.) and GPS sensors? Or using your phone entirely on its own, including video capture?

I just use the camera on my phone (I have an iPhone 13 Pro) mounted in one of these mounts.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Nothing fancy and to be frank that mount shakes a bit, I've considered moving to a GoPro instead but there are issues with that as well. There's a good thread on the 718 GT4 forum about it:
