Front facing Nuna Rava. I was actually able to make it work by taking away the car seat recline. The seat is upright now but the kid has 6 inches of leg room with the front seat pushed all the way forward.

yeah you're not getting around the leg room .. my son has the same issue as well
edit: actually sorry i just noticed you said 6" i believe mine has about a foot or 2
Something you should consider, noise. The back seat absorbs a fair amount of engine/tire noise. Just put the rear seat backs down and drive around makes a significant difference.
Hmm, I didn't think of that. I kind of doubt that it can make that much of a difference. I could live with a bit more noise.
I have the car for like eight days, and I already did some damage to the back seats. I managed to scratch the leather with an ISOFIX connector, and the protection mat transferred some color and plastic to the leather.
So I'm quite eager to remove them. I don't care how it looks without the seats. The idea is to try to get 4-5cm more legroom for the kid and keep the leather intact.
I'm using Britax Advansafix IV, and the legroom is not that bad with the passenger seat in the front. I'll try to find a more compact solution with not as much overhang over the seat base.
