msile can you explain what needs to aligned. I tried something on my 2003 C4s like this broke tabs. Thanks if you help on explanation.
Sorry just saw this. The carbon for the center console are overlays that have to be stuck onto the piano black pieces. What I meant was that when you stick the pieces on, you will have to align it so that it wont be crooked.
I’ve ordered a bulk amount of DB carbon parts for my C4S from Daniel. Great Guy, excellent service and communication. I’ve spread it throughout the car tastefully with a balance in specific areas as to not overload it all in one area and kill the look. My only concern is how the centre console trims will look once replacing all that piano finished with carbon fibre panels but I really dislike the piano finish so I’m taking the risk.
- Sport design rear diffusor (exhaust outlet) - Sport design front center air intake frame - Sport design park sensor surrounds R+L - Sport design front side air intake slats R+L - Exterior side mirror triangles R+L - Side mirror housings R+L - Interior side mirror triangles R+L - Steering wheel trim arm sport chrono -PDK shift paddles steering wheel r+l
- Sports chrono mode arm - 3-piece trim panel cover set center console (removing all the piano finish panels including switch areas)
Will be doing a bunch of photography once all my other mods are fitted, wheels, springs+spacers, exhaust and wrap, so I’ll post up plenty of pics once complete. DB Carbon are running a fairly decent range of 992 parts in their current and upcoming programs, definitely worth reaching to out to Daniel.
Any updates and pics ready to share? Am interested in similar project and working with Daniel and locally now to see if someone is willing to do the installation pieces without raping me $$$ wise. Interested in how yours turns out and pros/cons of your installation.

sorry guys, no pics or updates of the project yet as my car has been delayed by a further 4 weeks. Will post and update this thread as soon as available.
Super easy install and makes a huge difference to me. I am not a fan of that piano black that shows every dust particle, but the big advantage is how it integrates with the CF interior. To install, I lifted one corner with my fingernail then inserted a putty knife wrapped in a towel to pry up the corner. Then I just worked around until it all lifted. The DB carbon parts fit absolutely perfectly on the OEM piano black parts. They are very thin, so they don’t appear as as add-on at all. The CF used and the finish are a perfect match. I just can’t believe it.
DB Carbon: kudos for this perfect match!!!!
P.S. The OEM piece is at the bottom on the console, and DB’s are around the seat heater switch and MT boot.
Are the CF console parts DB’s matte silver?
(or something else)

It's the matte finish that perfectly matches the 992 CF interior. All you need to do it write to Daniel and he'll hook you up with the right parts. These pieces are quite thin and come with 3M adhesive on the back, so you just prepare the surface and stick them on once properly aligned.
Wow it's too bad they don't have pics for all of the 992 parts on offer. I really want to get rid of the piano black inlays around the center console. Can't really tell if the "Center Console Trim Lining" is that or replacement for the weave around the cupholder. I think based on the description its the cupholder area. These are the first aftermarket interior options I've seen for the 992. If anyone knows of others, please post!
There is a full Youtube video showing every option the offer being swapped on a 992. I ordered the center pieces to replace the piano black. Ill shoot pics when done.
I have a 2021 with the piano pieces. Are the parts that you got from DB carbon stick on or do you pop the existing parts out and swap the new ones in? If you pop them out can you articulate briefly how you did that and in what order? I’m afraid I’m gonna break something if I don’t do it in the correct fashion.

You don’t pop them out. They come with 3M double sided tape. See my matte application above on the console. They are a perfect fit.
So for PDK, it’s looks like the frame around the shifter does not have to be popped out as the carbon trim does not have to go underneath the frame, correct? Ordered mine in August but looks like it won’t be ready until November. Worth the wait I’m sure.

I can’t help you with that. For the MT, I did pop the boot so it sat on top. You could write to Daniel at DBCarbon - he’s a great guy and will get back to you.

Me too.. Had to pop the boot up for my MT but it comes up easily with a pry tool and snaps back in. Pieces do lie under the boot edges. Good fit from DBCarbon. Nothing available tho for ***** area, Manual boot removed/pulled up for CF install Post CF installation. Flush fit all pieces from DBCarbon.

Love this.
I have the CF Interior and Steering wheel in my upcoming GTS so going to do this. I also hate the black piano colored pieces
Does any one know if the CF PDK Shifters tough to install??

Just take your time aligning the pieces. Do a dry fit first. Once they are down, they are not going to be easily moved. They really are perfect from DB carbon when installed correctly.
