Well my first impressions with my 4S are why the hell did I ever buy a Ferrari 458?! The 992 is every bit as quick and just about as fast as my old 458, and since it’s a 911 will likely rarely if ever break (if it does, it’s under warranty) unlike the Ferrari which if you just look at it wrong, something breaks. If I go to sell this car in five years with say 50,000 miles on it, no one will mention the miles where as the Ferrari fan boys were saying my 2014 458 with 11,400 was well driven or the miles were on the high side.
Originally I was looking at some 2019 Turbo S, but the 992 4S is almost as quick and has way better tech, and frankly I think it looks better (I rereally like the rear end treatment.)
So my initial impressions are all very positive. In the Ferrari’s defense, it is in my eye still the best looking car ever.

That is a great looking car. It will also give you years of fun with little hassle, if any.
458 best looking car in the world? Not sure. There are a few to pick from.
I think the 911 has the best combination of everything though.

I think a Ferrari 458 seems like an epic car, it’s an amazing compliment to the 992 that OP seems to be enjoying it as much as those of us who are repeat 911 owners.
i immediately thought of all those sports car series where the 911’s and 458’s (and others in this Ferrari model series) do some fierce battle.

That was hilarious about the 11K mileage. I hope you enjoy many miles in your 992!
