lol - the blurring of the license plate is not effective if you blur a different part of it in each picture. nice a$$ on your ride, but i'm not sure what you did.

I never have understood the blurring of the plate. I could just as easily see you going down the road and learn the number. What’s the point?!

not so much what car you have, but what you have done to it. Yes in the instant someone has a stock car its not that great a threat.. but on most forums where people have a laundry list of what has been done to their car its a shopping list for thieves. Is it likely to happen? not really .. is it possible? yes .. so it depends on if you error on the side of caution or risk. Georgia is probably more likely to have this happen than in Alaska i'm assuming. I remember years ago there was a story where some guy posted the rx7 he was building on the supraforums and a some stole it and they traced it back to someone got the information on the car from the forum.
you guys can post your plates, but i wouldn't laugh at someone who chooses to blur their plate, although i would say showing some of the plate here and there is pretty funny

Guys let me tell a story since I am still bored. A few years ago we went to Bangkok and saw these old VW buses modified into full service bars. About 4 or 5 would pull up on a busy street and have a full bar set up. 2 bartenders, led lighting, and a large t.v. in the back. End of the night the would pack up and leave. What a great concept. So I came back, bought and modified 2 of these to replicate these vans. Had to go to the hood to modify the vans since every other body shop would not do the work. Anyways my idea of mobile bars did not work due to confusing liquour license laws in Georgia. I sold one van and the other one I was going to take to a consignment shop- their only criteria was that it had to be in running condition. This van was sitting for about 6 months and would not start. It is very difficult to find someone who works on these old air cooled engines. Anyways my Brazilian nanny gave me a friend of a friend's info who works on these cars. They had a shop and immediately towed the VW. To cut a long story short they never returned the van. I filed a stolen car police report and eventually recovered some of my loss with my insurance company. The police officer stated they most likely they sold it a long time ago. I told him they shouldn't go to far since I had the title to the car. He laughed! In the state of Georgia you do not need a title to register a car that is older than 25 yrs old. I had to clarify with him that basically I could steal any car over 25 yrs old, provide a bill of sale to the new owner and get away with it.
