Yep, typo on my part, thanks. I thought so, too, that Skene should work on just about any car. It’s easy to install and leaves no visible marks when removed (if installed correctly).

Agreed. Skene says it won't fit on their website. I sent a pic of it on my car. For $80 (??) I took a chance and its perfect.

I may have one to give away, but heaven only knows where it might be after the move.

No front plate in over 20 years and no tickets!! I'll take a fix it ticket anyway as I don't think there is a good solution for the 992......

I've never gotten a ticket for not having a front license plate. From my experience, most cops are actually pretty cool. If I had one mention the lack of a front license plate on my car, I think I'd nicely just ask him that if it were his car, would he drill holes in the front bumper?

I've lived in a couple of states where front plates were required. Never had one, and the only time I had any trouble at all was out in Venice Beach, and I got a ticket for improper display. I paid it and moved one.

It's required here in Texas but I've have never gotten a ticket for it. The closest I came was going through a u-turn lane under a freeway once where the cops had set up a sting operation for checking for wearing seat belts, which I had on, but was stopped anyway and the LEO says "Where's your front license plate? You know, that's why they give you two!" and then let me go.

DC Metro -- several warnings and two tickets and bunch of parking tickets in DC (they can legally issue those even if not DC-registered car, if front plate required in home state).

That all got old after a while. If nothing else the time waster of sitting in your car while the officer runs your stuff and issues the warning/citation.

I have been given a citation before as others in our club.I prefer to drive a car that has no reason to get pulled over even thought I do not like running a front plate
