Who is getting a Turbo S?
Hey all, I currently have a 991.2 GT3 and will never get rid of it, but if I could afford it, I'd love to add a 992 Turbo S to the stable. Just curious on who is put their orders in, what the order queues were like, and what options everyone is getting?

I'm TRYING to hold out for the 992 GT3 Touring but the new Turbo S is so stunning, I'm tempted. Already went through the configurator and came out around $233k. Not pocket change by any means but when you consider what you're getting for that number, a car that can basically outperform any car on the road, in any setting, but with creature comforts allowing for daily driving, it is an absolute bargain. Approaching hyper-car performance figures for under $250k ain't too shabby.

I switched a few items and ended up with this, sub $230k

Folks thought that I was crazy for suggesting $225-230k for a typical 992 TTS build. The price increase and new options don’t make that hard at all. 😜

Not me, I just snagged a new 2020 Huracan EVO to go with my 992 C2S. Now I have the best of both worlds.

No problem. Here's my build. First time Porsche buyer, so all feedback is very much welcome:

Lightweight and insulated glass - expensive and there have been issues with cell phone service and toll tags
Night Vision Assist - yet to see a single person claim for this to be worth the money, really steep
Burmester Sound System - disclaimer, I am not an audiophile and much prefer the engine sounds...but I've heard the standard Bose system and it's pretty darn good. I'd go check them out in person before dropping $4k on the Burm
Just removing those 3 items alone will drop your car almost $8k...could put some of that into a few other options you were considering but passed on
All in all, awesome build!

I created a "full send" build to maximize the options on the Turbo S.
You can get it up to $258,395 with the currently available options.
Build Code: PM9GYK90
You can get a Cabrio to $265,475 if you go nuts. Interestingly, omitted options for the Cabrio bring the prices closer if you are going to max it out.
And yes, you could buy a nicely equipped C4S AND a C2S for that price, but what fun is that.

I am getting the Turbo S when it comes to the 992.
I saw the testing picture with the ducktail 992 (I am torn between that and the Turbo if they are releasing it later). Obviously GTS will come out the minute I get the car lol. Choices....
For the Turbo - the Dolomite Silver on my end (Dolomite is my name)

The tough part about providing feedback on someone else's build is that almost all the options are purely subjective and personal taste. That being said, being around the brand for awhile and you mentioning your first Porsche, I can provide some thoughts since you're welcoming feedback;
