14 Cayenne GTS which just cracked the 61k mile mark. I can see my self using it also for the occasional night out with the
my wife as the other sports car we have are a bit too extreme/flashy or she hates the seats (race buckets)
It’s the same price things that im struggling with the most. Both will do a great job. TTS has already realized 50+k depreciation by comparison. 992 will have 1.5yrs longer warranty time but since the mileage will only be 3k different in several years, I feel the the resale hit will be
considerably less in the TTS. Plus it’s a proven platform whereas the new car may still have some
teething pains as I’ve read.
The ride compliance in the TTS, how is it by comparison?
They're about the same, both my cars had PDCC, PCCB and RAS. The turbo has a supple ride, its not a GT3. The 992 is also a bit plagued with software issues, mine had the alarm going off all the time.
I would typically always say go turbo and I drove turbos as my DD for 31 years. I, however, recently ditched my 991.2 Turbo and went backward to another 997.2 . . . a NA GTS of all things.
I had 991.1 and .2 turbos and 997.1 and .2 turbos. I really like the GTS and the 997.2 platform better than the 991. The GTS is more engaging and better driving than the 991 Turbo and the GTS has more than sufficient performance for the street
The 991 just never geled with me. I do like 992 though, but holding out for the 992 Turbo.
I just lived with a new C4S coupe for a week and really enjoyed driving the car. Looking at used values there a some low mileage CPO'd TTS in the same ballpark cost as a new C4S.
I plan to use this as a alternate daily driver to my Cayenne GTS when the weather is fair. I've never been in a TTS so I'm wondering if any TTS owners that have now compared both could share their thoughts.
Ride quality, dynamics, overall comfort etc. I never once felt the need for much more power over this past week in the 4S.

OP, you have posted this on the 992 forum so there's lots of coolaid from 992 owners. Why not post in the 991 turbo forum too and see what you get?
Well, I went the other way I ordered a 991.2 turbo S and took delivery in 2017, massive spec with almost all the options and the most CXX Porsche GB have ever seen. Traded it for a new GT2 RS, always regretted it and asked the dealer to let me know if the turbo S ever came back. Last week I got the call and after some haggling, I've bought it back for £19k less than I traded it for and its only done 2,000 miles while its been away.
As part of the deal, I traded back my 992 C4S, a very accomplished and competent car but lacking character and soul and not remotely in the same league performance-wise. There's a massive difference, the numbers don't lie. Swap over day:
That is a gorgeous TTS - and you'd be right, the 205 mph top speed, 0-60 in 2.6 sec- but not just that, it's the mix of all the technology that makes the .2 TTS a legend. Speed and ride quality second to none.
I've owned a 997.2 S, 991.1 C2S and GTS, and 991.2 Turbo with std brakes. All great cars, but in terms of suspension and ride quality, I like the 991s better. Personal choice. 991.2 TT was in another league entirely, but then you have to like the rev-type response of the TT and the lower redline.
I compare the 991.2 TT against all other cars I drive, including my GT3. There it is a very difficult choice.

Granted I still love the 991.2 turbo S, but I needed to tweak mine, I haven't needed to touch the 992.
