Default Love my Burmester!

I love the Burmester in my 2020 718 Spyder. Even with the top down, at 80 mph. I can turn up the volume and it is crystal clear! It was the first box I checked on my 2023 992 GTS, which just completed production, and on its way to the port of Houston!

Not true

I am surprised people are arguing over what is a $5000 option in a $100K plus car, sound difference is quite noticeable, it is a really good system and I would never get anything less in the future.

Yeah its always the "but its not worth the cost" guys... thats why there are options. For me its worth the cost. Its noticeably better, listening to music is something I love doing in the car, and I would never personally buy a car without the top OEM sound system in it. I know you can do better aftermarket. In the early 2000s I actually had a VW Jetta that I had in sound competitions (back in the good old "feel the bass" days). I got that out of my system and never want to deal with all of that again. I just want the best sound possible from the factory (thus checked the box). And I fully understand why to others it may not be worth it.

I pick up my GTS next week and specced the Burmester. I’m pretty excited to see how it compares to the Bose system in my previous 992 C4S, which was decent. But I want better than decent and like many others here, I enjoy listening to music while I drive.

Does the Burmester's 'Sound Conditioner' do anything to provide some noise cancellation?

I'm assuming not, just adjust tone and volume based on speed?
