I looked at a lot of them first. I almost picked "Carrera" but then thought it will say that on my car 3 places, excluding the door sills and on the plate holder would be too much.

 

I don’t keep a frame on mine as my state doesn’t distribute plates with razor sharp edges. Besides, a friend who’s a cop once told me that he can pull anyone with a frame over if he so chooses. He can say the frame is covering a portion of the letters/numbers/stickers. That’s the main reason I don’t use a frame. That, and I don’t need to give someone free advertising

 

Waiting for California to issue the perminant plates to it can switch to dark mode. Highly recommend.

just be careful, especially if driving on 95 south of Richmond. Cops will give you a ticket for that. Technically they're not supposed to cover more than 1/3 of the state name. I speak from experience.

I usually don't like a frame... but this one is nice. I did do some surgery on the bottom right corner (since this picture was taken) so the expiration sticker is visible.

 

 

Dealer frame is actually high quality and very nice.

 

 

Did you get the wired or battery version? Do they also provide a front plate?

I definitely like the way these look. Not sure I want another monthly subscription fee to replace the old style metal plate that still functions fine.
