Yikes. Black care here, too. I feel your pains! Considering an indoor car cover just to keep dust off of it..

Caliporsche, do you own a MasterBlaster car dryer? It's my favorite car detailing tool I've ever owned. Look into them at Detailers Domain.

WOW! I just looked this up! This looks amazing! I definitely need to order this. I get the water lines after a wash and it hurts when I see them! This is a game changer. Thanks so much for sharing!!

I've got one on order, along with a new retractable hose setup. It's time to up my washing game and get ahead of the water spots!

A normal leaf blower works pretty good as well. The key is to make sure you wash and rinse the car with soft water. This can make all the difference in the world when it comes to drying and water spots.

I use a Craftsman leaf blower from the depot...cost is 34.99. Works very well and is light.

I bought one of the Master Blaster dryers after reading Lex's recommendation. Beyond the incredible drying capabilities, it is the tool for thorough interior cleaning. Vacuum your interior as best as you can and then use the Blaster to blow out every single, little piece of detritus that your vacuum just can't get. Under the seats, in the footwells, in between the seats and the center console, through the HVAC vents...the thing is far less unwieldy in a small car than a leaf blower, and your car will look cleaner than it ever has with a regular shop vac.

That plus the fact that you will reduce a towel touching your car as you dry it.

Really appreciate it. I was planning to use my shop Vac with some added tools on the hose. But after getting this recommendation, I'll be upgrading. Thanks so much!

Yes, really what I do is use a blower and finish off with the happy ending towels. I also use a water softener system. I made a video about it on youtube if you search for Church of Porsche its the one titled don't believe everything you see on YouTube.

I've been using the Master Blaster for years on all of my cars and motorcycles. It also warms the air unlike a leaf blower.
