Default First Purchase for Your 992

Hey Fellas,

I’ve had my 992 for a couple weeks now. I can’t explain how much I love this car! Wanted to ask you folks what you felt were the essentials you had to have in your 992. I was told to get some solid floor mats. Perhaps some all weather or some clear plastic floor mats?

nice! Any suggestions on where to get the clear corner lights? I’m on the fence since my 992 is black. It kinda looks nice with the amber but I’ve always had clear corners. Thanks!

Owned mine since late November. I've gotten Clear side markers, STEK DynoShield PPF on the full front and the rear fenders + A-pillar + rockers (cut as one piece), Feynlab Self-healing coating for the non-PPFed parts of the car, Feynlab wheel and caliper coating and SunTek ceramic window tint on all windows.

My dealer tossed in a free set of winter floor mats. So, I didn’t need to buy those, but I did get the following right after I bought the car.

-Professional paint correction and ceramic coating, including wheels and calipers.
-19/20 Winter wheel set that I also got ceramic coated

...since then, it’s been a few necessary odds and ends for the car...

-Rennlist membership 👍
-Porsche Ice Scraper, because Porsche Ice Scraper 🤩
-Uniden R7 radar detector (Xmas gift) 🚔

With 3,000 miles and another 2k miles on deck during the next few days, I am just really enjoying the car. I got my C4S at the start of October, so it’s been an awesome three months. 👊

Hows the radar detector? Have you heard of one that ensues cops nearby? I heard there was something but never looked into it. Something to the extent that it picks up the police car frequency or some craziness.. so even if they’re not using the radar, it’ll show a cop is around? Sounds a bit much but figured I’d ask lol

Not the best picture. Covers the black piano trim on the center console along with the door buttons. From a looks perspective, you really can't tell that it has been installed.

Yeah, I saw this but wasn’t able to obviously see it clearly. If you have time, do you mind posting some pics of how it looks in your 992? Whenever you get a chance, I’d really appreciate it Also- are you happy with it? Was it an install you did on your own?
