Water behind tail light
Hey guys --
This is a new issue that just cropped up on my 992 C2S -- only on my left tail light. Seems to be a failed seal. I'm in touch with my dealer for a service appointment. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Pressure washed fine. Driven in the rain?? I get that some of you baby your rides, but not being able to drive in the rain isn't something I'd accept from a car.

My wife and I was 2 miles from home in my 991 when it started to drizzle. I made it back home before it started to rain and drove here GLS. We were a little late.

Yes -- I use a pressure washer on my weekly maintenances washes, same as my other vehicles. I've never had a problem like this before (including the 991.2 I owned previously), so I think it's a defective drivers side tail lamp.

This thread recurs on a regular basis whenever a new 911 generation or facelift is released. Short answer is, it's 100% normal. Those lens assemblies aren't hermetically sealed. There will be some condensation under various conditions.
Some dealers have been induced to replace them just to make the customer happy, but at the end of the day Porsche does not consider this to be a failure, and will (presumably) not reimburse the dealer for replacing them under warranty.

EDIT: googled and answered my own question. @Noah Fect appears to be correct.

Bad seal. Same thing happened to my 2019 GTS this summer after a car wash. Threw a code too. Service appt and dealer replaced the tail light under warranty. Easy fix.

I've seen hazing on the insides of the headlight and taillight housings after a wash depending on the weather conditions. It usually clears up in a few hours.
My concern with seeing the photos from the OP is that there are water droplets all over the inside. That's a lot of moisture in there.
