What is the general timeline for the GT3cup car? When might the next version be launched?
Generally for the track the cup car should be better than the GT3 RS right?
I think the talk over in the Cup section predicts the 992 Cup won't be arriving until 2021 season, as the 991 Cup has been homologated for 2020. I would imagine the 992 GT3 will debut at a similar time for marketing purposes.
Cup and RS are completely different cars. The Cup is designed solely for motorsport with a factory cage, fire suppression, ergonomics, suspension, reinforcements, etc. to that end. The RS is a street car that has been factory "modified". It's a very good street car but a street car nonetheless.
If the purpose is track only, a Cup is better. You can't drive it on the road, of course.
