Default IMSA 911RSR 992 2021?

Not sure how many follow IMSA series racing on the forum, but I can’t wait for Porsche to start production on the GT3 line so we can see the 992 version 911RSR. Looks like it will be sometime in 2021 (at the earliest) before they’ll be able to replace the 991.2.

Rolex 24 in January is a long ways away!! Can’t get here soon enough!

Here’s a schedule for anyone who is interested.

Porsche Cup is March 13-15

That RSR is one of the most bad *** looking cars ever from the front 3/4 view!

^^ sounds awesome! Looking forward to it this coming year.

Watched some highlights of the Formula E race this past weekend in Saudi Arabia. I think it's gonna take me some time getting used to an electric race car.. especially since it used to take two vehicles to finish one race, though I believe they finally put a stop to that. I prefer Formula 1 myself

Porsche (Lotterer) finished 2nd in their first race.

That car is an update on the current RSR and still based on 991.2, not 992.

Doesn't sound nearly as good as the car it replaces.

Yes we know this.. it’s what I said in the OP. Won’t be until 2021 at the earliest before the 991.2 is replaced with the 992.

I was just seeing how many on the 992 follow IMSA. Which doesn't look to be many.. so I may head over to P&C at some point when the season kicks off.
