I moved to the US from the UK 40 years ago and even back than I was not impressed with the standard of driving here in the US - its only gotten worse !!!!

Drivers Ed here sucks and everyone feels so entitled, passing the test is the criteria, not so much driving safely.
Yes, some US drivers are atrocious in their disregard of safety habits, courtesy towards other drivers, and knowledge of how to drive their cars.
