Hello All,
just looked down at my feet getting out of my 992 and noticed that the gas pedal has a blue line around it. Then I looked to the left and the dead foot pedal seems to have a yellow or orange film covering the whole pedal. And the brake pedal seems very plain. Did my dealer forget to remove some packaging ?
cheers.

I’ve purchased at least 30 new vehicles over the last 30 years ( this is my first Porsche ) but have never had to remove plastic coverings from pedals on a brand new vehicle. It seems dangerous at some level to leave plastic coverings on the pedals. If someone’s foot were to slip off the pedal in an emergency situation...

How could you not figure out for yourself what it was and just remove it? I get annoyed when dealers take this stuff off.

I don't think any owner would care if they have to remove it themselves. The problem here is the failure of the dealer to alert a new owner to this situation. Shoddy delivery imho.
