Default 992 Build Need Help

First time Porsche buyer made a deposit on a Carrera S Cabriolet and have a few weeks to go in and do the build. Thinking of Jet Black but looking for opinions on color and options. Your input would be most appreciated. Thanks

I find posts about color interesting. It's such a person decision I'm not sure they are much use beyond comforting the poster. If you make a post asking "what do you think of X color" everyone with that color will reply saying it's the best.

I did struggle with color choice. In the end I went to a dealer that had both and made a gut decision.

Practical terms; Jet black will look dirty an hour after you clean it, and it will show up everything from nicks, to fingerprints. If you are OCD, don't get Jet black, metallic hides swirls a little better. Black also hides lines of a car. Car designers tend to use Silver to show off curves and lines.

Black is lovely but super high maintenance.

Thanks for your input. The Dealer commented about the high maintenance that goes all with blac.
Silver was my second choice

Congrats and good luck on your choices! I'm afraid no one can help you when it comes to color options as it'll ultimately be a choice that you have to make based on your own personal preferences.

The first step after taking delivery of a black 911 is the trip to your detailer for full ceramic.
