You are literally posting that on EVERY post that highlights the awesomeness of the Sport Tex seat option - we get it already. Very funny...your Chevy is amazing. That said, no need to keep posting this...

That was the second time I posted it. So I guess counting isn’t a strong suit for you 😂

Ha! I think that the people who like them the most have them. Leather is the best (for me and many others) and a modern sports car should have leather. And I have ventilation in mine, which one cannot get with Tex. Leather is also easier to keep clean and not looking like Gram's easy chair that is covered with a quilt.

I guess you've just sourced our sense of insecurity - makes sense with the new C8 creeping up on our performance numbers... OK I admit, Chevy's Sport Tex is amazing! Run along now...

I have a seat question too. Why no love for the 4-ways? All talk about 18- or 14-ways, but no comparison to the 4-ways. I may be the only one who doesn't feel that the 4-ways aren't great. (And I'm not saying that from a purist-must-save-weight perspective, just that they are very comfortable and simple in a good way.) One of the only things I didn't sprinkle money on was for 14/18-way seat upgrades.
If one has back issues the power options are a must, such as lumbar. I know what you mean though since the 4 ways I tested were more comfy than the 18 ways but I am one of those with back problems so 18s are the only way for me; I also like the aggressive bolsters and fit well in them.
To answer the OPs question though, you should be able to adjust the seat to where it needs to be for you. Did you try to adjust the back section more forward? Or tilt it? Keep in mind you can adjust the steering wheel as needed.

As you know then many people have pain (in lots of different areas in different situations due to back issues, and 97% of drivers with problems benefit from seat adjustments such as lumbar. My 18 ways helps me a lot and I change the settings often depending on how I am feeling. A doctor showed me that last year, which was in some medical journal, when we were talking P-cars; he had a couple Gemballa 930s and a newer 911.

Silly comment. The fact Porsche has manual seats by default in a $100k+ GT car is the problem here. I've driven rentals that don't require manual adjustment fore/aft. I'd also love not to have to spend $3k+ to get stuff a BMW does for free (mirrors that tilt on reverse). The 18-way seats are great despite the price, not because of it.
