Default Opinions on GT sports steering wheel with CF panel?

Or if anyone saw this in person. Trying to decide between the two, as I may be going with the matte CF interior trim and thinking the CF steering would go well with the trim.
What is the opinion on either of these? CF or Keep It Simple?
Is the CF just like a wrap or are those actual CF parts?
Does the CF look classy or tacky on the steering wheel in person?
How well should CF wear on the steering wheel?
One says "Multifunction" in the description but the other doesn't. Whats the difference?

Roughly £500 price difference between the two.

I think that the regular heated GT sports steering wheel is the most handsome wheel fitted to a modern Porsche. IMHO. I don't think that carbon fiber adds much to it. There is such a thing as too much decorative carbon fiber.

I almost added this wheel to my order, and I’m glad I didn’t. I think I agree the regular gt wheel is nicer. Sometimes simple is better. I did get the carbon door sills though, and I’m happy with that decision.

I have the matte carbon fiber interior with the standard heated GT Sports steering wheel. The matte carbon fiber is very subtle and I don’t believe it will/would have made that much of an impact on the steering wheel. I would agree with the above comments...sometimes less is more.

I like the carbon fiber on the dash but not on the wheel. Save your money and stick with the regular GT Sports wheel.

If you get the CF interior trim get the wheel to match as it is Black anyway and kinda plain looking so the CF will liven it up a little. Regardless, I think this is something you will have to decide on yourself. Asking about options such as RAS or PDCC I can understand but cosmetic items should be decided on by the owner. I did a lot to my interior and never once did I ask for opinions, and if I did and listened I would have a boring interior and not the unique one that puts a smile on my face every time I get in.

I wish they offered a true Carbon Fiber GT Steering Wheel (on the actual steering wheel instead of just on the center panel).

Several places can do that for you, and many here have on various models.

Yeah, haven't seen it in real life admittedly - but an extra £££ for a panel of CF on the s/wheel? I'd pass this and stick with the 'standard' GT wheel (heated, preferably!).

Sills might be nice though. Or leather/alcantara sun visors, possibly?! Bit cheaper but still an upgrade from standard at the end of the day.

I agree with most of you, so I have decided on the following:

standard GT steering wheel with heating
matte CF trim
illuminated CF door sills
alcantara headliner
alcantara sun visors

All advice is much appreciated!

Sounds great - nice options!

it did annoy me though that although you can get alcantara headlining in the same colour as the interior (I went with brown), the wheel, visors and centre console only come in black alcantara!

I agree completely, sucks for anyone choosing anything other than black or slate interior.

Oh yeah that's all done, I was just looking for opinions on the CF steering wheel. Here's my full build:

Anyone have this? Have seen very few real world pics.

Not a huge fan of the standard and GT steering wheel. The spokes seem a bit plasticky feeling/looking.
