Sign recognition is certainly useful -- it's really good at picking out those speed limit signs, but I really dig that I am now able to measure the speed of the vehicle in front of me. It's quite entertaining to view another car's speed on my own speedometer (green arc in ACC display mode), plus, cruise control doesn't actually need to be enabled to see it.
During my driving adventures today, I had a few folks slow down when I got behind them. I watched their speeds drop down from 90+ to the posted 70MPH speed limit.
This had me thinking... Does the ACC radar cause some radar detectors to go off?

My valentine be was getting so many K band falses from other vehicles and semis that I had to deactivate it. Not sure if the 992 does this as well but it may. The acc seems to work much more seamlessly than the one in my other car as well. And yes you have to love the Germans love for detail such as showing other vehicles speeds lol.

I had the same pain. Use the Valentine V1 app on your phone to disable the false alarms (you don't have to use the app afterwards- I don't). This suppresses nearly all of them. It is way easier than doing it by punching the detector's buttons.
