@jmpstl @CT992 and others getting estimates on delivery dates - are you getting these from your dealer or via the app/website/email?

Other than calling my SA - I don't know where/when to expect updates. I'm using the iPhone "My Porsche" app and the "My Porsche" tab on the website for information.

I placed my order on 10/2/19, then:

10/4:
- my SA told me I had an "early December" build date
- I simultaneously received a "Follow the production of your Porsche" email

10/14: I made a change to my order to different wheels

10/16: the "My Porsche" tab/iPhone app started showing "Your Order is Created 1/4"
The graphic of my car was with the original wheels (noting the disclaimer: "vehicle shown here may be different from the ordered vehicle configuration")

10/24: additional modification and my SA said it would "lock" in the next week after 10/24 - but I've received no confirmation of the lock or any further automated updates.

I'm presuming I'm 60ish days into a typical 120ish day order to delivery journey. While my SA would likely be very accommodating in informing me, I'm wondering if there is another technical avenue of which I'm not yet aware.

Regardless, I'm expecting a difficult 1-2 month wait now.

Mine was ordered in early November, locks on 2/2/20 - scheduled pick up from dealer on 5/1/20. On the other hand mine is MT and I got a March allocation. I am sure PDKs are being delivered much faster from order date.

I'm getting my dates from the Porsche "Track Your Dream" email that I received shortly after ordering. Its sending address is info@porsche.us, rather than my dealer. I saw someone mention that the dates in the link from this email were not accurate for their shipping, but that's what I have for right now.

I feel like I’m going around in circles with this, but I’m under the impression only certain dealers are part of this pilot program? Or is it at the point that anyone can get the track your dream email?

Could I possibly email info@porsche.us to get the ability to track mine?

I sent an email to Porsche NA 3 weeks ago asking how I could get access since my dealer was not aware of the "FYD"app. So far no reply. You should be able to get your SA to pull up your order in the Porsche Sales and Vehicle Management System which has the info on your order's key dates. Get him to send you a photo of the screen by text once a week or so. My order has beaten all of the planned dates so far. Locked on 11/7 and arrived at Emden 11/25.

Our C4 locked last week; confirmed ED pickup date in Zuffenhausen is April 22. It's going to be built (according to current schedule) in January though, so it'll be sitting a while at the factory. We could likely have done a pickup in February or March but wanted to do Europe in Spring, not Winter.

Currently waiting on the next batch of C4 allocations to be handed out, I've been told it will be later this month. There was 1 C4 allocation left in the country last week but it was too soon for my needs (believe it was a January build).

Congrats! Ordered mine on 11/25 and build is locking soon. I can also now see my order in the My Porsche app. Also doing ED and initially requested for an April pickup in Leipzig, but now asking for end of March in Zuff.

How are you able to see it in the My Porsche app? Did your SA set you up?

I think I took that one? Locked 11/28/19. C4S cab V250 tomorrow, to be built 1/10/20. Trying to figure out when/if to take Euro Delivery.

That is too funny, wow

We have the same car (the "rare" C4)

We have the same confirmed ED pickup date (April 22 - requested this date specifically as it's my father's birthday and we're doing the trip together)

We have the same ED location (Zuffenhausen)

Looking forward to meeting you lol

Ordered in early April... delivery date of 9/13 didn't happen and it was a week by week wait after that. Finally delivery happened in mid-October. Over a half year of waiting for this damn thing. I guess it was worth it.

I was told I would get the email, but don’t know if only certain dealers are part of the program. My dealer does tell me that they have some sort of elevated status as a dealer, but I don’t know what it is called or what it really means.

The link is useful, because you can navigate to a list of all your options. It is only the numbers, so you have to cross reference to a description, but all of my changes have shown up right away (and the ever increasing price :-|).

That's is SO cool. My wife and I are looking forward to meeting you and your father. Our scheduled pickup time is 8 a.m.; what is your time slot? Here is our locked build...very interested in seeing yours as well. http://www.porsche-code.com/PLP73A58
