Now I'm hearing Geneva 2020- which is March 5-15, 2020. I haven't heard diddly about LA release. A sales rep mentioned it to me last week. This means allocations like summer 2020, deliveries late 2020.

If that is the case, then I think the GT3 release will get pushed as well. Thats a bummer.

Well if that’s what needed to get them additional time to develop and work out the bugs out of the vehicle, then it is probably for the best.
Now I do wonder if they are going to launch anything at all in LA — maybe a Targa or a new concept car?

That means Turbo won't be in US lots until 2nd quarter 2021 earliest. Good timing to take 992S in meantime.

Won't be the 992 TT/TTS most likely, and definitely not the 992 GT3, which is still at least a year away.

Possibly, though it makes it less exciting for Porsche given that the product has already been launched and the reviews are already out.

I've been saying all year, this years show is going to be all about the Taycan. In SoCal I'd wager in the coming years they sell 5 Taycans (Taycii?) for every 911 they sell. 911 will take a big time back seat this year. I would LOVE the targa intro but my hopes are not up.

If you are into tech, then tesla is the best option. Not sure why you’d spend money on Taycan.

For LA Auto Show I’m still convinced we won’t see anything new in the 911 line but Taycan will be front and center. Also 718 Spyder is confirmed which I don’t believe has been shown stateside yet so that will technically be a “debut”. My targa dreams have no hope

Considering that they're allowing the press to already drive pre-production Turbo S cars (Automobile/Motortrend stories are up), there's not much of a reveal left for an autoshow. The 992 has been such a lowkey 911 launch. Porsche is just selling such a crap ton of Macans that they can't be bothered to market the 992 911. LOL
