Happy to join the club. First Porsche and all i can say is WOW does it drive well. Glad i got it as a DD. Amazing. Feels better than my Range.

Had to change the side markers ASAP lol. Got a sport lip spoiler off Suncoast as well. I am also wrapping it a Miami Blue next week which i think will look great with my interior. Will post more pics then! * Also debating liquid wrapping the wheels in gloss black. I think it will look better.

I'm prepping my build and the more I see the Chalk, the more I want that color. The more I see the Gentian Blue the less I want it even though it was my first choice. It reminds me too much of my current BMW and previous 981. This thread is super useful. Somehow color is always the last thing to decide on, my current dilemma is between Chalk and Night Blue.

That Chalk coupe with Classic wheels looks great. Thanks for posting the cab and coupe pics. I thought I had ordered a Targa, but it turns out my dealer didn't get an allocation. I'm now deciding whether to order a Targa next year or move up the timeline and order a coupe or cab. I've had three 991 cabs, and my wife's 997 is a coupe. Why did you make the switch from cab to coupe?

Thanks. I've had a number of 911s over the years - all coupes - until I purchased the 991 Cab cpo last year. I loved the Cab. The top is an engineering marvel and the chassis is nearly as stiff as the coupe. When I originally thought about trading it, I was looking for a 991.2 cab and I went searching for my ideal car only to learn the inventories were depleted. I test drove a new 992 S cab at my dealer for kicks. It was my first time driving the new turbo motor and the torque is amazing. The interior is so modern. However, once I specced a new cab as I would want, it was well above my budget - even taking a very light hand on the configurator. At that point, I wanted a 992 and started to look for preowned cars - both coupes and cabs. The car I bought had just be traded in. It was purchased new in Feb and the originally buyer decided to swap it for a 991 GTS targa after only 1200 miles. While it's a coupe, it is almost my perfect spec and was priced right. The rest is history. The 992 feels quite a "sharper" than my 991 did. I am not sure how much of that is attributable to the wider track and generational upgrades vs. it being a coupe. While I really like the looks of the cabs top up and down, the coupe is the better looking car. In 992 form, it is stunning.

It helps that we also have an older e46 BMW convertible in the garage too for when I need a top down fix.

Good luck with you order. The targa is a very special car.

I missed mine too - until my 992 showed up. I guess I'm fickle. 991.2 is now gone and forgotten.

What color interior do you want? That may help you make a choice.

Thanks for the response. A pre owned 992 in Chalk is a great find. My Macan is Chalk, and I love the color.
