New Owners post Pics of your 992 !

I posted some of these in the "waiting room" thread earlier this week, but they seem more appropriate to share here in the "new owners" thread.
After a long road (like everyone else), my PTS Oak Green Metallic over Black / Iceland Green C4S was finally delivered last Friday. Hopefully the sun comes out soon and I can get some photos that show how Oak varies in different lighting, but here are a few from delivery and a stop in an empty parking lot on my way home:

I've liked oak for years and came into the PTS process with it as my front runner. I examined swatches of 6-8 different greens and in the end oak still won out. Even with all of that I wasn't prepared for just how awesome it would be on a full car. I am amazed every time I look. It is so dynamic and it hits just the right of balance of being eye grabbing without being ostentatious.

Thank you! I had initially planned on a chalk interior based on the configurator renderings of the interior options, but when I saw a physical sample of Iceland next to the PTS swatch I knew that was the way to go for me. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out (as I am sure is the case for all of us with our builds).

I also wasn’t sure about the meaning of Carlo’s post at first but then I scrolled up and took a look at the photos. Oak Green is just so much more green than AG, and I think that’s what he means. I am not a huge green fan but OG is absolutely beautiful and I’d take it any day over AG if cost was the same. OG is a nice green without being too green, and that makes it probably my favorite of all the greens I’ve seen (including all the PTS ones). AG just doesn’t seem green enough to me but it certainly is a nice color, and I considered it (ended up with Gentian Blue).
In that same line of thought, I know many love Agate Gray and I think it’s a nice color but I can’t unsee the brown hues in it. I wish that Porsche would come out with a true medium gray for the 911 that doesn’t have too many brown or blue (example: Volcano Gray) hues in it. If there were a medium gray that was a pure, neutral gray, that would be a great option.
I love my Gentian but sometimes I wish it was more blue without the purple hues. In other words, I think Gentian is a lot like BMW’s old Interlagos Blue and I wish it was more of a pure blue like LeMans Blue. I love non-metallics as well and my fave at the moment is probably Oslo Blue, although I love Nogaro Blue as well. I might have to consider going PTS in the future.
I’ve had my car since Sept 28 and still haven’t taken any decent photos of it. But here are a couple snaps from a wash this week just for fun. I’ll try to post something better soon. Porsche code on my build is Pnwnhxu6 if you’re curious. I went a little “crazy, yet thoughtful” with the options and would change very few things if doing it again.

I like the purple in Gentian Blue.
