Standard Stereo?

Glad I could help. I know there are going to be plenty of people that say they dont like the base audio... but for one thing, I really dont think its all that bad, and MORE importantly you are buying this car to DRIVE it and enjoy the fact that its a wonderful sports car... Sport Chrono is far and away the one option I would never skip... The sport exhaust to me just adds to this whole experience of a sports car... It isnt a crazy loud system, but it gives a deeper and more burble base sound that is better to listen to than any Bose system (personal opinion as someone who prefers the sound of the engine to music)

I have two 992. First one had SC and SS but base sound. Second one SC and Bose because once you have SS you realize it’s really not much louder than regular exhaust. It’s truly a waste of money for me. SC is a must. I also got inno drive because I like the safety features eg emergency braking.

I have the Bose but the road noise, car etc doesn’t really let you appreciate it. I would get the basic system and be done with it.

Kind of glad I found this thread. I have been messing around with the configurator and trying to stick within a budget. I am going back and forth on base vs Bose. With my budget I am only going to pick two of these three options...sports Chrono, Sport Exhaust, or Bose. I do like listening to music in my current car when I am not with my wife. Have a bunch of songs on my phone, but I am really liking the idea of having both the two performance options as well. Is the Bose stereo good enough to drop either sports chrono or sports exhaust?

I agree but I also understand where he is coming from. If it was me I would ditch the PSE and go with the Quad Tips, then get PSE programmed.

From what I have read on here, yes. My plan is go this route then get the M-Engineering tune to to open the valves fully.

Anyone know if someone makes a simple plug and play sub for the base system? Not looking for much, just to fill in the low end a bit. Sounds like adding a Bose sub is out of the question.
