Default New exclusive exhaust tips option

What’s the difference between standard dual-pipe exhaust and the new option with Sports Tips, also dual-pipe? Why couldn’t Porsche just add the dual-pipe option to Sports Exhaust?!?!

I just checked here for the Canadian car builder I don't see the quad tips, can you take a screen shot?

Think just the size (diameter) of the pipes, and they also have a black lining (or something like that).

I agree though - I'd much rather have the sports tips with the PSE.

I'm really hoping they can be swapped/retro-fitted after delivery.

i thought the bumper exhaust holes on the 992 were fake and just there for show/styling. are they actually connected to the exhaust piples? pretty sure i saw a couple of videos talking about this.

Yeah they are just decorative - the actual exhaust outlets end before the inside of the bumper starts.

If it's like the tips used on the .2 997 PSE you should think twice about getting them. The joke on RL at the time was that they looked circumcised. Short matt silver outer w/ longer matt black slashed inner.

Same esthetic opinion here buds. I actually opted out of the sport package because in preferred the look of the standard S exhaust. Esthetics > function in this case. There's always aftermarket

They look the same as the dual pipe exhaust on the S models (without Sport Exhaust). So far that isn't an option for us in Canada. You can see them on porscheusa.com

Must be market specific then - they are a recently added option in the UK
