Default 992 C2S MPG 2020 Vs. 991.1 2019

Not that it matters, but why do you think the MPG decreased so much other than due to the larger turbos...and do you think the difference in the base model would be smaller?

2019 991.2 C2S MPG with PDK: 22/28/24
2020 992 C2S MPG with PDK: 18/24/20

Not that it matters for most of us, but that is a substantial decrease in mileage versus the 991.2. Note that you will rarely see the rated mileage as you will not drive it like in the EPA tests. By the way, I average about 20mpg in my 991.2 C2, MT in mostly suburban driving. We usually go down from there depending on the mood.

Porsche AG reports fuel consumption data for each model in their annual report. In the most recent 2018 report, reported consumption is higher for most every model, including those that were not revised. So it appears Porsche AG's reporting standards changed, which likely accounts for at least part the 992/991 differences.
