My driver door speaker was blown when we bought this car a year ago and I figured I'd have it replaced under warranty with the next dealer service.
Buuut the dealership is an hour away so when the oil was due I just did it myself. And to get the speaker replaced I'd probably have to leave the car, so it would mean hanging out in RI for some number of hours or getting a ride to and from the dealership for a total of 4 hours of driving.
So anyway I just paid out of pocket for the speaker and replaced it myself. Super easy.

Unfortunately you have to make an account and post to download the PDF... But it was good. It's really just 4 screws, pulling upward on the door panel, disconnecting three easy connections. Replacing the speaker is obvious.

I went with the Rennline grills, and I think the design and fit/finish are fantastic. On the C4S, you need to take off the bumper as they nest/install over the intake duct, but the beauty of this design is that the active aero blades are not affected (aesthetically nor functionally). Honestly, you really need to remove the bumper anyway to clean out the debris that have accumulated (really substantial, despite a very babied 12k miles). Robust design with rock-solid fixation so no rattles/movement -- I think they look fantastic as well.
Apologies for the suboptimal photos, as my car needs a wash
looks fantastic. i might get a set for my car.
usually the rocks that end up hitting the side radiators are small stones. does this really stop them? does anyone who have them installed notice a change in operating temp?
Yes I went with rennline grilles instead and have a non-sport design car...fit well and look OEM and do not impede function. Paid $276 plus installation cost. Full set was Rennline Radiator Protection Grill Screens - SKU# E1006.
Didn't use the center portion on mine...though. So you can defer that part if you don't have Sport Design. BTW with the rennline ones the bumper did need to come off to get the best fit but my dealer did it as part of a service and front PPnF fix so it was all good.
Had Zunsport on my 981 Cayman S and it worked and looked well and was an easy installation but the 992 was a bit different beast and like the Rennline look a bit better.
