Are they black or can you see through them? I would want black myself.

This is the darkest color (Charcoal), and you can still see through them a little. I just installed them and I will post a picture tomorrow after they have set and it is a bit lighter outside. I was a little disappointed with the cut, they needed to be a few mm longer on the farthest back part to completely cover the reflector. I think if I ever have a reason to take the whole bumper off I will ordered a set painted in the car color from Bumper Plugs and have those installed instead. But this works for now.

Function First aluminum shift **** to go with the numeric pedals. Wasn't expecting much but you can actually tell a real difference as it weighs so much more than the stock plastic one. But now I have to worry about the added .0001 in by lap times.

Very nice! I had a FF shift **** in my 991.1 and had to do it in the 992 as well. It's a really well made piece that makes a bigger difference than you'd think (as you said).

It looks like something is off on your shift boot installation in the photo(which would seem out of character for you)... perhaps this was taken during a test-fit, but the boot should come higher.

Yep good catch. Snapped a photo a bit to early before I fixed the boot.

That's what I figured.

If you are feeling ambitious, the Numeric short shift kit (no cables) is an even bigger improvement and the install isn't terrible.

You know I got the pedals and love them and was thinking hard about the shift kit. Then I think of my original plan not to do anything I couldn't reverse in an hour or less and I'm conflicted now.

Next time my wife insists I tell her what I want for my birthday I'll just say a numeric short shifter, to which she will reply send me the link.

I just got the Carbonio license plate frame for $279. No drill, easy install, it is very solid when in place and am able to take it off in 5 seconds. Really great product. The only downside is when you actually study the product and realize you paid $279 for what probably should sell for around 60 bucks, you just shake your head. However, when I look at the big picture and how well it functions, I feel good about the purchase. What the heck is $279 on a 150K purchase if it does the job.

haha.

I'm not trying to be an enabler here, but...

In all honesty, the install on the short shift only takes about an hour. Most of it is spent figuring out how the center console snaps together and being timid about not wanting to pry too hard and snap something. (Spoiler: these plastics are tougher than I give them credit for and need a bit of force / commitment to get apart in some cases)

Now that I've done it once, I'd say I could uninstall it in 30 minutes or so.
