Default Finally...and happy.

So, I was inspired by @Bkrantz and his folded aluminum backplate, but I decided to go with the Porsche supplied holder and mount it using aluminum brackets. I bought 1/2" wide aluminum strip from the local hardware and then made U-shaped brackets that I then mounted to the center section of the apron (I do not have a radiator or a radar unit there, it is just a trim piece) using 3M Trim Tape. I then mounted the Porsche supplied license plate bracket and am quite pleased with the result. I cannot see why Porsche didn't prduce this solution, or at least a mount plate that would go low and not require defacing the bumper apron. This only needs to hold up until I move to NC (a SINGLE PLATE STATE) next spring.
