Where on earth is the Cigarette Lighter / Power outlet?
So I am looking at getting the new Uniden R7 radar detector but after looking and looking at pics of the interior of the 992, I cannot for the life of me find where the 12v power outlet is.. That doesn't require any particular option like adding "smoking package" or anything does it? I just don't want to have it somewhere in the middle armrest and have the power cable stretching half way down t he middle of the car.
Ideas?

I highly recommend getting a BlendMount and also using the MirrorTaps from them.

I have the Uniden R7, and the suction cup mount that comes with it is excellent.
I also bought the Blendmount... but found the Uniden mounting cup worked / fit better.
With that said; I would defintiely recommend getting the hard-wire tap:
