Thoughts:
- Is this a US car? If so, matrix headlights are a waste of $$... they operate just like normal LEDs here (currently)
- PDCC is a "meh" option
- I'd argue against spending so much on the "nannies" (LCA, LKA, etc) - but to each his own.
- The yellow and red clash too much - or at least in my eyes it doesn't work with Chalk. I switched the exterior to black and it's actually not bad... but the only places I see that work with red and yellow are McDonalds and a Ferrari

Congrats & Nice build overall, other than the yellow seat belts. Yellow interior accents would work if you were going with a brown / black interior, but definitely not with the red in my opinion.

Explain more to me about this LED lighting issue and the USA... why?

Also, the Red and yellow is classic Ferrari colors and nobody calls it a McDonnalds color car... but I get it, it's certainly an acquired taste for some.

Per the bottom of the option information popup (clicking the "i" next to the matrix options):
Note: Full LED-Matrix functionality (individual operation of 84 LEDs) is limited for the US market. Individual LEDs are programmed to operate as a single light source to perform the functions listed above.

An explanation: Matrix LEDs operate by "partially" disabling high beams on part of the lights that it detects would shine at other motorists. US law prevents this extra functionality (not operating the headlight as 1 light source) from happening currently, so the matrix LED functionality (what you're paying for) is essentially "disabled" and the lights function the same as a standard LED light.
Now, if at some point the law gets changed (I believe it's at least attempting to) - they would be able to enable this functionality at your dealership with a software update (provided you have the matrix LEDs).

thanks all, December I will get the car!
Stay away from the yellow seatbelts on a red interior. Just saw a red interior 991 with yellow gauges and i still can’t get the traumatizing image out of my head.

I've always wondered if the people that spec red/yellow interiors were warned not too.

That's a much brighter red interior than what I am getting, and rather than one ring, the entire gauge is yellow which might lend to the "Too much" component..... with that said, I still like the Yellow, call me weird, but I just do.

Maybe its the Ferrari fan in me. For me an all black interior, or even a black / gray combo is just too "Honda accord" ordinary ... doesn't say "Exotic"!

It's actually the same red (bordeaux red has been the same leather used on the 991.1, 991.2, and now 992) - the online configurator just shows it looking a little darker.

But, I do agree that you're not going full red and the gauges are not full yellow so it's a little less outrageous

wow, that does look very bright.. In the showroom it looked blood dark... good thing I'm getting a body color sunroof! 😂

I talked to the dealer, worse case if I HATE the seatbelts, it's about $1200 to replace them... I can live with that.
