Default Subwoofer location?
Hi

May I ask where the Burmester subwoofer is located in the 992? Is the Bose sub in the same location?

Everybody knows that the Burmester subwoofer is perfectly integrated into the vehicle body.

My understanding is that it’s bolted in the dash behind the air con controls and exits vaguely towards the pedals.

Yes this is exactly what I was thinking. Same as the Mercedes setup.

Thank you, @AlterZgo , for that link (was unaware of that site). I've of course seen the diagram from the configurator, but was left to assume the meanings of the iconography. Appreciate the official source!

Bose woofer is in the same location at Bermeister, front left.

It’s just about below the drivers left knee. You can see it if you look up, above the pedals.
