Shiny gold with [white, black, 50 shades of (blue, green), dark reds ]
Satin gold with [silvers, grays] + the colors above
Gold face with a silver barrel is a pretty good look in addition to all gold
The less gloss black or black plastic bits or exterior CF or etc with gold wheels the better unless its a black car I think, like a 3RS with black accents and gold wheels might be a bit too much....the accents should be gold also not black in that case
This is the key for me. Weissgold is beautiful and understated enough and goes with TONS of exterior colors.
The 992 standard Aurum wheel finish is too yellow and doesn't look nearly as premium to me.
It's a shame that they seem to reserve Weissgold and Neodyme for GT cars from the factory. I might have gone with one of those finishes for the wheels on my car had they been an option.

Weissgold would be beautiful with oak green. It would pick up on the gold flake in the paint. I'm not normally a "gold wheel" kind of guy, but the weissgold in person is low key enough to where it's not overly flashy.
are these stock or can I get a powder coat in a like color match?
As far as I know, the Weissgold is paint, not powder.
Powder suppliers might have a similar light gold product. Prismatic Powders might be a decent starting point.

I had my wheel centers powdercoated by Supreme Power when I bought them from Eric. Now that may mean it's a powder version of Weissgold, I can't tell you. Either way, I've been happy with them - it's a satin finish which also changes the character of the gold.
