It looks in the pics like Imperial Blue from BMW. Has a nice brilliance in the sun, but very dark and dull in the shade.

Would be good to see more in the wild photos.

Hmmm...that US rear license plate cutout...the size, shape and the bumper-ettes...well, a bit wonky to my eye. Off topic, but anyone have pics of US SportDesign rear?

This was at Porsche Carlsbad right? I'm so sad I missed it, I grew up in Carlsbad but now live in LA...they sent invitations out to me and my family (we've bought 3 cars from them) and I had no idea the 992 was going to be there, otherwise I'd have made sure to go.

How did that interior look in person? That's probably my preferred combo.

100% blue blue.
Not Navy or particularly dark.
The colour pops under the sun. But I also like the fact that it goes almost black at night, since black is my favourite colour (all my past 911’s have been black)

Yep, Porsche Carlsbad (formerly Hoehn Porsche). Interior... well.... I'm in the camp that has a lot of complaints about the design. Much prefer the 991 layout.

Thanks for the pictures! The shifter and cupholder look...not great. I love the 991.2 layout as well, honestly it's the new seats that excite me the most, I've had some problems with noises coming from the seats in my 2018 Carrera T, and these look like an upgrade with stability and hopefully comfort too. Otherwise I just love that color combination.

Disagree completely. The new interior is elegant, airy, modern with a classic touch and a big leap in overall quality.
The nubin and cupholder notwithstanding (neither of which bothers me) it would be a masterpiece.

Totally agree the interior is refreshingly modern but totally in keeping with the 911 tradition. I to have just received my cab and absolutely love the whole experience.
I have had 6 Porsches over the past 20 years and this feels like one of the best.
I love the look of your car and hope you have many exhilarating miles, I drove mine back home through the Lake District and loved every mile. ENJOY!!!

Big congrats to you also.
This is my 4th 911 and have driven GTS and Turbo S 991’s and have to say I consider this a big leap in all directions. A fabulous car worth every penny.

Im currently debating speccing Gentian Blue on my build, but it seems too dark/dull from online pics to my liking and my local dealership doesn’t have any in stock to see IRL.

Is there anyway someone who’s seen it can post a picture that somewhat resembles its actual color?

I’d be extremely thankful as I’m stressing way too much over this color decision lately, first world problems I know......

Gentian blue is very chameleon like. It almost mimics its surroundings. At night it almost looks black.
Under good lighting conditions it pops. I absolutely love it.

Please choose another colour so mine can be 0.00001% more exclusive lol
