I went with silver trim on my last build (pictured). I wanted the contrast with tinted windows. I also had cleat tail lights. For my Gemini Bule 992, I am leaving the silver off.
I'm noticing some of the 992s are being built with silver window trim. Retro? Just finishing last minute details on my GT Silver C2S build
scheduled to be built July 5. Yay or nay on silver window trim. Will have the RS Spider wheels like the photo.
Thanks!
Reviving this thread as I'm thinking about silver window trim with the exclusive wheels painted satin black...is the silver window trim a polished chrome or does it have more of a satin finish? Sorry for the dumb question I haven't seen it in person obviously. If it's a super polished chrome I'm hesitant to keep it, but I think a more satin finish would work well with the excusive wheels.
It looks great in person. On a configurator I wouldn't be racing to throw it on, but it wouldn't deter me from purchasing one off a dealer lot or second hand. In fact, I've seen some builds where that trim set the car off entirely and would appear to be a downgrade if it were "removed".

I think satin black trim will look better with satin black wheels.
