Yes. I own a 2017 GTS Targa....here’s hoping we don’t have to wait until the end of the run to see the 992 GTS!

Perhaps do some reading on the differences in the 992 suspension and steering.

Bumping this old thread to see if anyone has any more current info/thinking. I'm starting to contemplate a 992S but I'm in no rush so maybe the GTS is out by the time I'm ready.

Any news/rumors on release date and subsequent first USA delivery dates?

Haven't heard squat on the 992 GTS but just a wild guess- late late late 2020.

If they release an X51 PowerKit for the S early, like they did for the 991.1, I'd be interested. The rest of the 992 GTS, Alcantera and ???, add no value, IMO. ...unless Porsche makes some surprise changes in the 992 GTS.

The X51 PowerKit is easy to do on the 3.0 TT 992, compared to the N.A. 3.8L 991.1. The 992 GTS powerplant, like the 991.2, requires only a tune applied to the S powerplant.

Yes I'm expecting 470-475 Hp too. What surprised me in that was the mention of a 6-speed manual. Was that a misprint? Could it be getting the GT3 6-speed manual?

It just might! I can’t find any other stories on it. This looks to be it at the moment

Well, as terrific as that would be, the photos posted on the Manual Transmission thread show a 7-speed in the yellow GTS.

Yes, the GTS having the seven speed manual has already been confirmed in pictures.

Assuming the models' brakes are as on the 991.2 models, centerline hubs would make sense if it had Turbo or GT3 rotors. For S sized rotors, why bother?

Considering the number of S builds at $160-170k, I would be surprised to see average GTS builds landing at $170k.
