But I do love the color and the intro with the Porsche 911!!!!
Don’t forget the 550 Maranello he had between in BB2.

Awesome. Yes, this could make the blue popular.

I was only messing around and each to their own. The blue is beautiful in sunlight , but not for me and I just went uncontroversial white . Had I had total control ( not saying I am hen-pecked) and had the nerve I would maybe gone Miami blue. The side "Porsche " stripe was not available on factory order when I got mine and I don't like the shortened version ...but I will probably go with it if I can get the full length ones like on the 911R ( side only , none of that over roof stuff ) The 911 is probably not a car to go tacky on and bling up too much. Less in more on this marque me thinks.

The new Blue is a great color and if Bad Boys gets some people to depart from Black, Silver, etc. It’s not entirely a bad thing.

Folks rave about the cars in Magnus Walker’s collection, because he takes real design risks. You could argue that he has elevated the marque by doing so. Bold graphics, colors, and stripes is very much on brand for Porsche — look at the GT cars. Adding chrome, bling, etc? much less so.

I was surprised they didn't get a few pre production 992 TTS to film.

All right.... to keep this going, and share some more content for our Rennlist brethren....

Our own Rennlist @Bad Boys 1 Mike is at the LA Premiere as I write this. He had been contacting the studios for 6+ months trying to get their attention for use of the car at the Premiere, but they were busy. Week before the Premiere, PCNA calls,... lets get er out there!! Next day, the car is on a transport and heading west.

He's had the chance to film & take pics of the two new movie cars too. Even got to drive his BadBoys1 964 Turbo up onto the stage. It's been a long time in the coming, but I'm so pleased that the car & Mike are getting the exposure & accolades they deserve. The car has won a lot of 1st place awards over the years (1st place Amelia Island Werks Reunion a few years ago, 1st at Pinehurst before that,... Weissach Award at the PCA Parade in 2018 when Wolfgang Porsche signed the back of his award plaque..)

Mike has also been talking to a bunch of the movie guys there,..... one of the stories is that they took the rear window out of the Mule (Stunt) 992, so they could fly a video drone directly into the back of the car WHILE it was moving, during one of the shots. I'm hoping that was true (& that they actually used that clip), so we can see that in the movie....

Few pics from last night...

Hand Brake & video connectors...

The brake lever makes sense. I drove a 992 at Monticello and I yanked on the wheel in a way that would have spun a 964 and the 992 was just so planted and well behaved. Great car incredibly capable but I wouldn't trade my 3.6T for one. Way different driving experience.

Mike is having a blast.

Well if they got a GT2RS then the $200k ADMs would be back in a heartbeat...

The chases and stunt driving with the 992 were well done. They dubbed the exhaust sound with what sounded like a Carrera GT a couple of times, but in most of the scenes it was the actual 992 sports exhaust sound.

It looked like a C4S most of the time but there were a few huge slides that had me guessing that they swapped in a C2S for some of the stunts.

What's up Cobalt? Been a real long time. I see that you kept your beautiful 965 3.6T. I wish I would have done the same . . . sold mine for a mere $65k at the bottom of the market nonetheless. I miss it and would love to have it back even if it was not worth the $$$ now.

Cool they used a Porsche, but using a C4S is a bit of a let down. Good for the brand, but its kind of like bad boys driving the not so bad **** base version . . They should have used a GT2/3 or the very least a Turbo not one you see on the road coming and going every day.

The stunt car was a C4S with a handbrake.
